Essex Horse Trials & Peter Chesson Memorial Car Show
The Essex Horse Trials is proud to support the Greater Newark LifeCamp through a country weekend of equestrian competition, shopping, fine cars, and great food. This year’s event will be held on June 1st and June 2nd at the iconic United States Equestrian Foundation at Gladstone and the beautiful Moorland Farm where the Far Hills Race Meeting runs every October. Many local horses and riders compete over the course of the weekend in an “equestrian triathlon” known as eventing. Eventing combines the elegance of dressage, the thrill of cross-country, and the precision of show jumping at various levels. The Horse Trials are delighted to welcome thousands of spectators and hundreds of competitors as well as many LifeCamp families to a weekend of exciting activities.
