Jackie Welsh, Director of Development

I joined LifeCamp in April 2023, after returning to the community following my time in Maine, where I was Director of Philanthropy & Community Relations for Northern Light Home Care & Hospice, part of Maine’s second largest health system.

Early in my career, I worked in the hospitality industry in sales and marketing. After taking time to be a full-time mom, I joined the Visiting Nurses Association of Somerset Hills, where I learned the real value of the art of fundraising. My career in non-profit home health gave me great joy as I developed and raised funds for programs that enhance the lives of both patients and staff.

Everyone in my family has been a summer camper somewhere. I am a believer that a quality camp experience can teach life skills and enrich lives. LifeCamp is just such a place – and more!- so I am excited to join the LifeCamp family. 

My goal is to help structure solid development programs that will sustain LifeCamp well into the future.

I am thrilled to be back in such a welcoming community, near my family where I have eased right back into my former book club and bridge group!
